If you are planning a reunion (or any occasion) for the forthcoming year, there are a million choices to make. One important choice is what you are going to provide for a keepsake item. The aim is to make the reunion a fun, comfortable, carefree time, (with high presence and contribution) appreciated by all. So it is important to give something that’s practical, fashionable and affordable to attendees making keepsake things personal and as significant as possible can be a motivator for engagement.
african american family reunion t shirts and caps are popular selections for keepsakes since they’re all of the above. When ordering for a big group, it is important to keep down costs while getting quality products and preparation is the key to success
It does not take much imagination to think of problems that can happen when ordering custom t shirts for a big group. Speak to any reunion planner and they’ll likely concur that purchasing tops for a big group can be a challenge. I am convinced that if you spoke to coordinators that are enough, you’ll hear stories about ones where coordinators did not purchase enough shirts to go around, or misspelled names printed on tops. You could hear even more about coordinators who waited until the last minute to order, who pulled their hair out trying to locate a “fast” printing service with overnight delivery.
Each group has their own manner of distributing and choosing these items to members. The most significant message is to plan as early as possible and look at multiple factor (not only cost) in choosing tops for your group. Here are a few tips; that might help you save both money and headaches, particularly if you are new to reunion preparation.
When looking at tshirts, first consider your budget and your group. What does your group like, in terms of design, quality, colors, etc? How much can you afford to spend per shirt?

When looking at companies, consider material weight, colors and sizes available, delivery prices, quantity reductions, production costs (which contains art costs) and the base cost.
Material weight. The weight provides an indicator of the number of ounces per yard of fabric. For example, you may see a 5.4 oz. 100% cotton shirt. That means that the shirt supplies 5.4 oz per yard of cloth and will be a lighter material than a shirt that is say 6.1 oz. The 5.4 ounces shirt will be a great quality, middle weight shirt that functions nicely in hotter temperatures. The 6.1 oz shirt is considered a superior weight shirt and will be absorbent, while holding more heat. For a cotton shirt, it is not bad to ensure that it is preshrunk so that when it is washed there’s minimal shrinkage.
